MANEO

Gutturnio Riserva Doc

60% Barbera e 40% Croatina

TASTING NOTES

Purple and dark red shades of high intensity rest on the glass forming marked arches. The bouquet is changeable and ranges from black cherry to plum with intense notes of spices such as pepper and licorice. On the palate we have a still wine, with a tenacious gradation and balanced by the high complexity of flavors. Here the overripe fruits, in fact, pleasantly alternate with secondary flavors such as vanilla and cedar with hints of jam and raisins filed by a surprising acidity: first signs for a more than assured aging potential in the bottle. We recommend decanting our Gutturnio Superiore a few minutes before tasting in order to fully appreciate all its potential.
